š“ March is for Miami
Ahoy, from the end of winter ā or what feels like the finale before we get another few weeks of windchill. But as the ground thaws, the weather starts to warm, and the season slowly turns, itās time to stop hibernating at home in sweatpants and reconnect with the outside world. That means making new friends, going to new places, experiencing new things, and maybe even trying new substancesāall in the name of personal growth. And while the internet can connect you to anything and everything now, thereās no better way to connect with humanity, and with yourself, than by going to a festival. Donāt take it from your friend who doesnāt stop talking about Burning Man, take it from us ā and our favorite festival destinations weāre eyeing for the next month.

Japan in Full Bloom šø
If it seems like everyone is going to Japan lately, itās because they are. And from Tokyo to Kyoto and Hokkaido to Osaka, Japan really has it all: rich history, ridiculous cuisine, a favorable exchange rate for the first time in ages, and a respectful culture that prioritizes people and the planet. So the biggest event coming up on the Japanese calendar isnāt the season premiere of White Lotus, itās the Sakura Festival ā a roughly three week period from mid-March to April when the famous cherry blossoms bloom. And so does the entire country, with concerts and outdoor events for everyone to enjoy. So spend your days wandering Sakura-lined streets or picnicking with locals in a budding park; and at night, the colors, flavors, and festive spirit keep coming with food, drink, and enough live music to make you think youāre at a Japanese āChella.

Thereās No Land like Iceland š§
When you think of Iceland, you probably think of glaciers, volcanoes, and the villainous hockey team in Mighty Ducks 2. But Iceland isnāt just full of incredible natural wonders and guys named Gunnar, it has friendly people, amazing food, and a culture so warm, it defies the countryās name. And the best of all Iceland has to offer is on full display at the annual Food and Fun festival in Reykjavik, from March 6 - 10th. So if you like to eat, drink, be merry, and be amazed by natural beauty thatās a million times cooler in reality than it is on Instagram, then Food and Fun is the perfect way to exit winterāand your seasonal depression.

March is for Miami š“
If you havenāt been to Florida recently, your grandparents sure do miss you. And if you have, you probably know that the pandemic ushered in a new era of development, innovation, and excitement all across the state. And while Miami has always been a destination for nightlife, itās now a world-class city with famous museums, fabulous dining, electric culture, and enough silicon and lip filler to float the Titanic. Miami also hosts a myriad of marquee events that make people come to South Floridaāand then never want to leave. And while Art Basel isnāt quite our cup of kombucha, late March has Miami hosting the Miami Open ā a star-studded tennis tournament thatās more fun than most Majors, and the iconic, electronic Ultra Music Festival. So whether you want to see the worldās best tennis players or party to top DJs, all while enjoying a world-famous beachfront, Miami in March has exactly what you need.
