Guten tag, from a hot and heaping pile of regret… We’re supposed to be hammering beers at Oktoberfest this weekend 🍻 - and instead changed our flight from Bavaria to the Big Apple to see the parents. The parents who haven’t taken a trip in 20+ years... Not because they’re on house arrest. Not because they’re physically, financially, or mentally unwell. But because they won’t. It’s sad, but it’s true. And it kinda sorta hurts.

We don’t want to be like our parents - and by opening this email, you don’t, either. Good choice! So let’s skip the first and second date small talk, and get straight to it, shall we?
